Salle Eton - Objectives / Aims

The objective of the Salle Eton Fencing Club is to provide facilities for, and to promote participation in, the amateur sport of fencing and which includes:

  • Offering coaching and competitive opportunities – in all 3 weapons (foil, epee and sabre)
  • Promoting the club within the local communities
  • Ensuring a duty of care to all members of the club
  • Providing all of its services in a way that is fair to everyone
  • Ensuring that all present and future members receive fair and equal treatment
  • Salle Eton aims to promote the sport of Fencing in Slough and the surrounding area.
  • Providing the opportunity for people to meet, socialise and fence.
  • To run regular beginners courses for Juniors and Adults.
  • To promote healthy living and a well rounded lifestyle.
  • We were once a powerhouse for fencing in the Region and are looking to find our former glories again.
  • We aim to have our fencers compete locally and nationally across all 3 weapons.

Salle Eton is a non-profit making organisation, defined by its constitution, governed by its members, and managed through a Management Committee of elected officers, who report to the members annually at the clubs’ AGM.
